Mollie A. Gass is a native of Greeneville, Tennessee.  She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature.  She received her law degree from Nashville School of Law.  Mollie’s practice focuses on administrative law, general business law, and civil litigation.  

Prior to entering the private sector, Mollie was an attorney at the Tennessee Department of Health, where she focused on disciplinary actions related to inappropriate prescribing by healthcare professionals, including medical doctors, osteopathic physicians, physician assistants, and advanced practice registered nurses.  She has extensive experience in healthcare regulatory matters and state administrative law, specifically in the area of pain management and prescribing regulations.  Mollie also has experience in healthcare liability and construction defect defense litigation.   

Mollie is a member of the Nashville Bar Association and serves on the board of the Young Lawyer’s Division.  She also serves on the board for the Lawyers Association of Women, Marion Griffin Chapter and the Executive Committee for Belmont University College of Law American Inn of Court. In addition to her involvement in the legal community, Mollie also serves as Auction Chair for Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence’s Pearls and Pinstripes Gala.  Mollie lives in Nashville with her husband, Ben Simpson, and rescue dog, Pepper.  Outside of her professional and community activity, Mollie can be found at her local Crossfit gym or frequenting any number of Nashville's local eateries.
